TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all persons in the County of Sauk, Wisconsin, that The Kraemer Company has filed an application for a Special Exception Permit pursuant to s. 7.060 of the Sauk County Zoning Ordinance to authorize the continued operation of a non-metallic mining site, one acre or greater. A public hearing for the special exemption permit will be held on February 28, 2019 at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the County Board Room in the Sauk County West Square Building, Baraboo, Wisconsin.

The non-metallic mining operation is located in an Agriculture Zoning district, described as:

Part of the NE ¼ of section 29, T10N, R6E, and the NW ¼ of the NW ¼ of section 28, T10N, R6E and including parcels 028-0655-00000, 028-0672-00000, 028-0676-00000, 028-0688-00000, and 028-0675-00000, Town of Prairie du Sac, Sauk County, WI.

The hearing will be conducted for the purpose of explaining and receiving comments from affected persons on the proposed continuation of the mining operation. All persons are invited to attend said hearing and be heard. Copies of the Special Exception Application and Non-Metallic Mining Reclamation Permit and Plan are available for review during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) at the Sauk County West Square Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, WI 53913.
