Bid Notice for Rent of Cropland, Pasture, Barn, and Metal Pole Shed

Sauk County is seeking bids for the rental of cropland, pasture, a barn and a metal storage shed.

Each item will be bid and leases awarded independently. The pasture, barn and shed are located
at the former Health Care Center property at the intersection of Highway 154 and Highway 23,
Sections 27, 28, 33 and 34, Town of Reedsburg. The pasture, barn and shed leases are for a three
year period (2012-2015). The 12-acre cropland lease is for the 2012 year only.

All bids must be received at the Sauk County Conservation, Planning, and Zoning
Department, 505 Broadway, Ste. 232, Baraboo, WI 53913 before 12:00 p.m., February 24,
2012 on the forms provided.

Cropland for rent - 12 acres of cropland for the 2012 year only. The field is located north of
the new Sauk County Health Care Center, in Section 9, T12N, R4E on the west side of the City
of Reedsburg. The field may be planted to corn or soybeans. A nutrient management plan is
prepared for the 2012 crop season and will be included in the bidder’s packet.

Pasture for rent - 27 acres of pasture available for grazing from May 1 through October 1 each
year. The stocking rate is limited to 23 animal units based upon a 1,000 lb. animal unit.

Barn for rent - 50’ by 130’ wooden barn. Suitable for storage purposes. Cannot be sub-leased
or rented.

Metal storage building for rent - 50’ by 90’ metal pole shed. Suitable for storage purposes.
Cannot be sub-leased or rented.
