EnviroScape

The Sauk County Land Resources and Environment Department has two EnviroScape® models available for checkout. The EnviroScape® models are portable models that help people of all ages, languages and cultures better understand the sources and prevention of water pollution through visual and hands-on interaction.  They promote awareness by showing sources of water pollution and the methods used to control these pollution sources. EnviroScape® makes the connection between what we do on earth and the impact on the environment and is known for its balanced approach to environmental education with a focus on personal responsibility.

The EnviroScape® models are approximately 25" x 30" x 5" and are easy to use and clean. They come with a user's guide with a glossary and a lesson plan, providing guidelines to aid an educator in presenting a demonstration.  The models come with everything you need except the water! The two EnviroScape® models available are the Watershed/Nonpoint Source model and the Wetland model.  Please see links below to learn about each different unit.
