Hunting & Fishing at White Mound Park

Cattails on edge of White Mound Lake

We're excited to announce the addition of an accessible hunting blind at White Mound County Park! Nestled behind the park maintenance building near a food plot area sits the blind - complete with two chairs, heat, electricity and lighting. The blind is available to those with a valid Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources permit for people with disabilities to hunt deer and turkey. Click here or give us a call for more details!

White Mound County Park offers public hunting in the eastern area. Hunters often come in search of turkeys and white-tailed deer. The park is managed for grouse habitat in its aspen regeneration efforts, although the grouse population is very low at this time.

The park also offers wonderful bass and bluegill fishing. White Mound Park is 104 acres with a maximum depth of about 27 ft. and is fed by 3 streams and several springs. It can be fished anywhere along the shore by a trail that circles the whole lake.  A boat landing also provides access to the lake. White Mound Lake is slow-no-wake.  Ice fishing at the lake is excellent, also.

Camping is offered in most hunting seasons with weather permitting. Click here to view the White Mound hunting map, or click on the brochures below to view hunting locations.
