SAUK COUNTY PARK ENTRANCE PASSES

Thank you for supporting the Sauk County Parks Department by visiting our park and recreation areas.

A Sauk County annual sticker or day pass is required on all motor vehicles stopping in any Sauk County Park that requires an entrance fee. You can purchase an annual sticker or a daily pass when you arrive at the park, or in advance. Day passes are $5 per day. Annuals are $25 each or two for $40. 

If you are looking to find a vendor that sells our annual stickers, please click on "Where to Purchase" to the right or towards the bottom. If you are a honorably discharged veteran and a resident of Sauk County, please click on "Veteran Park Passes" to the right or towards the bottom.

Please place your annual sticker on the drivers' side of your vehicle, towards the bottom of your windshield. 

Annual stickers are NOT transferrable between vehicles. The sticker must be completely adhered to the lower drivers' side windshield to be considered valid. 

If an annual sticker is lost or stolen, we cannot issue a replacement. If you are getting a new car or need a new windshield, a replacement can be issued at no charge. To receive a replacement, the old sticker needs to be peeled off and brought or mailed into the park office at White Mound County Park.

The annual stickers are valid through the calendar year.

GREAT SAUK STATE TRAIL

A trail pass is required for all bikers and roller bladers, 16 years of age and older. The trail pass fee is $5 / day or $25 / year. Trail passes can be purchased at the trail (near the library) or at the Sauk Prairie Chamber of Commerce, Prairie du Sac Village Hall, Sauk County Clerk's Office and the Sauk County Parks and Recreation Office. 

A portion of the proceeds from permits purchased at the local vendors listed above or at the trail will directly benefit the Great Sauk State Trail.
