A: We do not offer seasonal campsites. The maximum number of nights a camping unit can stay is 14 days in any 3 week period from Memorial Day to Labor Day. A: Animals, reasonably estimated to be less than 175 pounds, are allowed in most areas of the parks (horses are exempt and allowed on designated trails and areas). A: No, we only offer nightly rates for camping.

A: You can have up to 2 tents per campsite or 1 tent and 1 camper on each campsite. Campsites 02 and 54 are exempt, please see staff for clarification.

A: There is a washer and dryer located in the shower building in the campground. If you have any questions regarding a refund or have an issue with the units, please call Coinmach / CSC ServiceWorks at 877-264-6622 or visit their website at https://www.cscsw.com/one-csc/
Q: When are the showers available?
A: The showers are opened as soon as the weather warms up and closed when the weather gets colder. Please call our office for clarification.
Q: How much do the showers cost?
A: The showers are quarter operated and cost $1.50 for five minutes.
Q: Is water available year-round?
A: When the temperature is below freezing, the water is shut off for the campground. Water may be available year-round in the park office.
Q: Is there a dump station?
A: A dump station is available for park users with a paid reservation. The dump station is located across the road from the park office building.
Q: How do I check-in if the office is closed?
A: If you need to purchase more vehicle passes, please visit our vestibule to do so (open during park hours, 6 AM to 11 PM). If you already have the annual pass, head on up to your campsite. If you already paid for daily vehicle passes, they will be waiting for you on your campsite marker at your campsite. Please visit our office the following morning to check-in.
Q: When can I start making reservations for the next camping season?
A: Early reservation requests may be sent to Sauk County Parks and Recreation between December 1 and December 15 for the following camping season. Campers must use the White Mound County Park Campground Reservation Form. Reservations are open to phone and online bookings starting the first business day of the year at approximately 10 AM.
