Plow / Dump Truck Bid

The Sauk County Parks Department is accepting bids for one (1) 2017, 2018 or 2019 plow / dump truck. The minimum specifications for the vehicle are listed below.

 New
 F350 or 3500 chassis
 350 horsepower
 375lb-ft torque
 Regular cab
 Four wheel drive
 ABS brakes
 Air conditioning
 Automatic transmission
 Power steering
 AM / FM radio
 Power locks & windows
 Electric trailer brake system
 Class 4 or 5 hitch receiver

Truck must also be equipped with a snow plow meeting or exceeding the following specifications:

 New
 7’ 6” or 8’ blade width
 Electric / Hydraulic operating system
 Straight or “V” blade

Truck must come equipped with an electric / hydraulic dump box that will meet or exceed the following specifications:

 New
 8’ to 9’ box
 10” to 15” sides
 Stake pockets or board slots
 16” to 20” tailgate with tailgate chains
 Built in headache rack / cab protector

The Sauk County Parks Department will be trading in two (2) vehicles as part of the purchase. Bidders may contact the Sauk County Parks Department at (608) 355-4800 to determine a time and date to appraise the vehicles. Vehicles to be traded are currently in service, mileage is as of Friday, May 11, 2018, and are listed below.

Bids shall be sealed in an opaque envelope and identified with the words “PLOW / DUMP TRUCK BID” written plainly on the front of the envelope. Bids shall be mailed to the Sauk County Parks Department Office, S7995 White Mound Drive, Hillpoint, Wisconsin, 53937. Bids are due by 12:00 PM on Friday, June 8, 2018.

Bids will be opened publicly on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 12:30 PM at the Sauk County Parks Department Office, located at S7995 White Mound Dr. Hillpoint, WI 53937.
