All are Invited to Upcoming Community Health Discussions- Online or In Person with Breakfast

Sauk County, Wis. — Public Health Sauk County, local hospitals, and the Ho-Chunk Nation Department of Health will provide two opportunities to hear about the results of their 2024 Sauk County Community Health Assessment. The assessment highlights three health priorities: housing, mental health, and substance use. All are invited to discuss current efforts to improve health in these areas. A morning event with a free full breakfast will take place at the Ho-Chunk Gaming Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells on Thursday, October 3, from 8:30 – 11:30 am. A virtual option will be held on Tuesday, October 15, from 5:30 – 7 pm. Both events require registration and are completely free and open to everyone.

“We received feedback from over 1,000 Sauk County residents through our Community Health Assessment and will use this time to share what we learned and the efforts already underway,” says Jodie Molitor, Health Educator for Public Health Sauk County. “These two events will be a time to share your ideas on how to make Sauk County the best place to live, learn, work, and play,” she adds.
