Public Health Improvement and Research

Public Health Sauk County strives to be an innovative public health department. Part of this includes improving public health functions through ongoing program evaluation, research, and continuous quality improvement.

Here are some ways that we are working to improve public health through evaluation and research.

Public Health Research:

How Do Sauk County Residents Get Health Information?
In 2024, PHSC contracted with the Survey Research Center at the University of WI-River Falls to conduct a survey gauging the opinions of Sauk County residents on how they gather information on public health issues and on the functions of Public Health Sauk County. The results from this survey will be used to guide how we share information about and promote Public Health programs and services.
